The Fig & Willow Service
DESIGN CONSULTATION & SITE VISIT
The first stage of our process together is to initially discuss the project and arrange a site visit. During this initial meeting, you'll meet your designer and detail your vision and brief, while they take vital measurements and site images. Initial concepts may be discussed so be ready to get excited! At this stage an optional extra of professional surveyor and/or topographic surveys can be arranged.
CONCEPT PROPOSAL & DRAWINGS
Following the successful site visit, your designer will spend time crafting your garden into your desired concept. This will take the form of a design proposal featuring moodboards, a first draft planting plan concept and visualisation of these suggestions in the form of watercolour drawings, drawn to scale, to help depict the finished product. An initial costing will be presented for approval prior to fulfillment.
PLANTING PLAN & FULFILLMENT
After approval, your designer will finalise your planting list, with associated costs and arrange all aspects of the garden construction and design. This includes liaising and working with builders, hard-landscapers, machinery and any other necessary third-party to oversee and manage your design fulfillment. Your designer will be on hand for all deliveries and ensure the exact procedures are followed and maintained.
MAINTENANCE & AFTERCARE
Once your garden has been lovingly installed, it takes effort, energy and can require specialist knowledge to nurture to ensure its success year upon year. Your dedicated designer will be on hand to offer garden maintenance and aftercare as often as you see fit. We remain available to all existing clients for on-going advice and to discuss any tweaks to your garden design as your space and style evolves.
